These photographs are part of the ‘Soup’ series, named after the term given to plastic debris in the sea. All content has been salvaged from beaches around the world, aiming to stimulate an emotional response by combining a contradiction between the aesthetic attraction and a subsequent message of awareness. Each title is available in 3 sizes in editions of just  25.

Sir Peter Blake

Sir Peter Blake is perhaps the most recognised and highly regarded artist of the British Pop Art movement. Much of his output – such as the sleeve for The Beatles’ ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ – has achieved iconic status, but he continues to work prolifically from his London studio.

Throughout his career Sir Peter Blake has experimented with typography and ‘found letters’. Recent text pieces ‘I Love You’ and ‘Hope’ extend that pursuit and reflect a sentiment and warmth that is inherent throughout his practice. All titles available through My Life in Art are strictly editioned prints, each signed and numbered by the artist.

Vincent Bousserez

Born in 1973, Vincent Bousserez lives and works in Paris.
He began photographing the Plastic Life scenarios 7 years go – though at first it was just for his own entertainment – and he swiftly found representation with galleries throughout Europe. In the UK, the Plastic Life series is exhibited and sold exclusively through My Life In Art.
These photographs of tiny people range from poetic vignettes to witty, barbed comments on human vices. Plastic Life now enjoys a world-wide cult following.

Editions are kept very low with some titles now totally sold out. Each photograph is initially available in 2 sizes, with a print run of just 5 in the large version and 8 for the medium size.
